  The staff at YouFit on Commercial and Dixie Hway are friendly, professional and super helpful. There’s a ton of workout equipment available (no waiting), plenty of floor space for jumping rope or doing your own thing and a giant room for classes of all kinds. They recently added Oasis Smoothie Cafe, owned by a super cool mother/daughter team (I think). They offer dozens of protein packed smoothies and protein health snacks. Yesterday I asked a trainer (Jason) to help me build a weekly workout program in the YouFit app. because I was unsure how to do it. He did, even though he’s not my trainer and he was off duty on a Saturday evening. After doing that, he pulled up his own personal workout regimen from his phone and texted to me so I could use that too. So above and beyond. Lastly, everyone working out here is doing their own thing. It’s non-competitive and great for beginners who don’t know what they’re doing yet. Totally non-judgmental crowd.

  Decent gym for the price. Staff is always super friendly which adds to the experience. I do like that they don’t have the depressing news on the tvs.

  In the group classes room all the dumbbells are mixed and nobody separates them by weight. Some dumbbells need to be replaced since rubber part of those coming off. Someone should have signs posted which bin had which dumbbell weight so they are not all mixed. Not enough mats available in the room. People have to go out look out for mats.

  I had a very disappointing experience with this gym. I cancelled my membership after a payment issue where my bank initially authorized the charge and then declined it. Instead of working with me when I tried to fix the payment, they added a $23 late fee within just a few days and refused to waive it. No one made any effort to help or offer a solution — they simply directed me to close the account. On top of that, my membership rate was increased without any email or prior notification. That is completely unprofessional. The gym itself is very basic — no sauna, no pool, limited classes, and nothing special in terms of amenities. Yet they charge cancellation fees and make no effort to retain customers or provide decent customer service. For less than $42 a month, there are many other gyms that offer far more value and actually care about their members. I would not recommend this gym based on my experience.
