I contact planet fitness over the phone (4:30) stating that my husband tried cancelling his membership over 4 times and it is consistently charging his card. ( now on his third cancelled card due to this gym ) told a worker name LENEXX. He stated to come in and he can personally cancel it and refund us. I was at ease knowing I can finally sort this out over months of trying. at 5:25pm I went into planet fitness in new smyrna beach florida on n. dixie freeway. Told LENEXX I was the one who called and told him how it’s been super frustrating. He stated he will cancel it and i said perfect. I then asked if i can get a receipt of the refund for my financial advisor ( this charging on numerous card has hit our credit negatively) he stated that he isn’t giving us a refund because in quote “it wasn’t our fault” i then said i’ve been through this issue with my personal membership and they were super helpful . I then asked if i was about to get a print out of him refusing our request to refund ( i explained in detail what i needed for my financial advisor ) he stated it was possible. After 10 minutes we get the print out. He printed the refund policy and stated in quote “we don’t give refunds if it was your fault”. I was flabbergasted!! I then stated “okay am i able to get you to sign the bottom of the paper saying you have refused our refund” he then stated in quote “i’m simply not doing that” i said “no problem” and then left. I am absolutely disappointed on how planet fitness treated us. We’ve been nothing but loyal to this company and because we moved we simply just don’t have the time to go to that gym anymore. This young man was so incredibly rude rolling his eyes and does not know how to treat customers. I’m hoping you take further action as far as this complaint goes because that young man does not have any manners. I’ve already emailed you about this situation when it happened and have not got a response so please don’t tell me to reach out when I have tried.

- LSlia sibrianJul 20, 20255.0New Smyrna Planet Fitness is very well maintained and clean. I forgot my sandals so I had to shower barefoot, but my goodness, it was so clean I wasn’t upset that I forgot my sandals. The front desk gal is doing a fantastic job! Please give her a raise. She’s awesome.
