Physicians Regional Healthcare System is comprised of two hospitals, an affiliated multi-specialty physician group, and a medical staff of nearly 400 physicians. Our campuses include a 24-hour ER, full-service diagnostic departments and medical offices. The hospitals have earned the Get With The Guidelines? - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for stroke treatment from the American Heart Association. Both hospitals hold fully accredited Chest Pain Centers from the American College of Cardiology. The Pine Ridge hospital is a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center, and the Collier Blvd. hospital is a designated Primary Stroke Center by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
