There’s no proof they received it until they decide you can cancel verbally you can cancel over the phone you can cancel going to any unit and now I’m getting charged $300. When I signed up, I was advised there was no hidden fees, and no cancellation fees. Initially I paid $26.99 and the following year (not part of my agreement) the fee went up to $34. Then I got an annual charge for $50-$60 dollars (which may have been written into the fine print, but definitely not marketed as such when I signed up). The sell was “nothing down, no hidden fees.” Except for all the hidden fees. I tried to dance my membership since July, but I called once every other week or so, bc I don’t have time to call every day. Couldn’t get anyone on phone until today, at which point I was given a toll free number. When I called, I was advised that I’d have to pay this upcoming month, plus a $10 cancelation fee (another fee that supposedly didn’t exist) despite having tried to cancel for the last 3 months. I’d recommend planet fitness, LA or literally any other gym now. Shame, cause again, location great but the new financial management is absolute garbage
