Be very careful when purchasing packages at this studio. The rules for their monthly memberships change constantly, and customers are not informed at the time of purchase. I normally buy individual classes, but somehow they put me into a monthly contract I never signed or even saw (I may have clicked something by mistake), and they began charging my card every month without any clear notice.
Their cancellation and no-show fees are extremely strict — $20 per class if you don’t show up, $15 if you cancel, and in a single month they charged me multiple separate fees. I have spinal issues, and there were days when I physically could not attend. I even provided medical documentation, yet they showed zero flexibility or empathy and kept charging me.
I submitted my cancellation request on November 3rd, but they continued billing me a full month later due to a “30-day cancellation policy,” even though I didn’t attend a single class. They charged me $101 in fees and surcharges and insisted the charge was valid simply because “they can change the rules any time,” even without notifying the customer.
What’s worse is that you cannot remove or edit your credit card, and you cannot modify or cancel your subscription through the app — unlike most modern services (for example: Uber, Airbnb, ClassPass, etc.). They make it almost impossible to stop charges, and I am still receiving collection calls over a month after canceling.
I am someone who always pays my obligations, but this experience was extremely disappointing. The issue isn’t the money — it’s the lack of transparency, customer service, and respect. These policies don’t build trust; they only push customers away.
If you’re considering this studio, please read the fine print and be very cautious.
