It’s hard to go to the hospital, but my son needs it, he was scared but guess what!!! All the personal was so sweet, nice and careful, it was fast, the X rays lady was amazing and the doctor make him feel good and secure. All the pediatrician should be like them.

I am writing to express my concern about the current process for entering the kids' emergency department, particularly for pediatric patients. It appears there's a significant delay at the front security and front desk for obtaining an ID badge, which is especially problematic when a child needs immediate attention and may not be responding normally. The time it takes for security personnel to issue ID badges seems excessive and creates an unnecessary barrier to accessing urgent care. When a child's health is at stake, every minute counts, and the current procedure prevents timely entry. I believe this process needs to be reevaluated to prioritize the immediate needs of emergency patients, especially children. Streamlining the entry process would greatly benefit those in critical situations. Hope the management will address this dumb procedure.

I’d I could place a 0 I would . Never in my life have I had such poor attention . We came transferred from Baptist worh a possible spinal injury . We waited over an hour in the wait room . Places in a room where for over 2 hours nobody came to see us . I had to get my son a blanket . After all this time a nurse practitioner (she was kind of nice) checked my son out . Only after 3.5 hours they took us for a CT scan. The nurse taking passed us to another nurse saying she had something else to do , passed by a group of nurses chatting and this sealing asked To see of anybody wanted to take us as if we were a hot potato to be passed around only to be dumped at the entrance of radiology instead of taking us to the test. 30 minutes later the tech came out upset we hadn’t been taken in . He was nice . He took us back to the room himself . Where we soent see again anyone until a doctor came 2.5 ha later to say , nothing is broken but see the orthopedic because we don’t have one in the ER. Felt inhumane . Like we didn’t matter . At no point in all this time we had an assigned nurse to address my son’s needs . Would rather take my chances at Kendall regional or drive to Joe do Maggio instead of stepping foot at Nicklaus emergency room again . My previous 2 experiences were similar . So this place definitely sucks now ! No care for the kids , no humanity at all !
