I have been going to LensCrafters inside Macy’s at Aventura Mall for many years. I drive from Miami Lakes to Aventura because of the excellent customer service I receive which is very rare nowadays. Their employees are extremely courteous helpful & very knowledgeable especially Fatima.

I really don’t think there is a better, knowledgeable, courteous, competent and professional representative than Fatima. From beginning to end it was a total pleasure for me to interact with her.
I truly sensed that she takes her job as a “calling”.
Her overwhelming desire to please and inform the best alternatives were truly amazing.
Again I’m truly pleased and extremely happy I chose to come to Lens Crafters in Aventura, will never regret it. I just can’t recommend Fatima enough. KUDOS! to her!

Graciassssssss ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

The customer service from the store representative and current manager is terrible; along with the communication as well. My order was sent back because it was defective and non of the representatives from the store bothered to inform me that the lenses were sent back which would cause a delay in me receiving my order. It was only when I called the store to get an update on why the order was taking so long did the person tell me about the order being defective and the lenses needed to be sent back to the lab. I asked the gentleman why wasn’t I notified of the delayed his response was “I never thought about that, and it’s not part of our policy”. Which I’m sure is not true. I then called every day to get an update on the status of my order, because I was told by the same gentleman that there was now a “rush on my order and the the order would be ready within 48 hours”. Which was 100% false. I contacted the store, spoke with the manager and informed her of the situation; she told me there was not a rush placed on the order and my corrected lenses still had not be shipped. She told me they would be ready the following week between Thursday and Friday. So the weekend past, I contacted the store on Monday, spoke with the manager and was told the eyeglasses would be ready tomorrow. The following day which was a Tuesday, I was told the lenses had actually shipped the previous Friday (which the MANGER originally told me the lenses had not shipped and she had no updates the previous day.) but now all of a sudden she did see in the computer that the order did ship. She never provided any updated tracking information either. Her and each person I spoke with over the phone were all over the place with their communication. If I could give zero stars I would.
Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters at Macy's
How do I know if my child needs glasses?
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
