Absolute worst experience I've ever had getting glasses. The doctor's office here is world class! No issues whatsoever. LensCrafters on the other hand has been a horrible experience. I have a uniquely complex prescription for my glasses, which I understand. That required a second lab to get involved. Unfortunately that wasn't done until I called to inquire on the status of my order. At that point in time is when I was informed they needed to go to a secondary lab. I asked for the order to be prioritized and expedited which I was assured it would be. A week later I called for status check only to be informed that the glasses will take at least another week. I was told again the new lab will try and prioritize my order. Completely unacceptable. There are too many options out there to be treated this way. In fairness, my wife and son had a great experience here. The prescriptions were straightforward unlike mine. Unfortunately, if it wasn't for me following up this could possibly drag out for weeks more.

LensCrafters has always been the gold standard. From the retail side to the optometrist office, I have never had any complaints whatsoever. The staff on both fronts is very welcoming and open to questions and concerns as well as suggestions. Store representative Janet Escalona was a great help and asset to the team. Her openness to questions and insight on all my questions helped ensure that I left happy and confident in my choice of LensCrafters.

Ask for Janet E. if she is available. Very personable, patient and helpful. She worked on getting me the lowest cost with my insurance and boy did it payoff. Saved $584.00. Can’t wait to go pick them up in a few days !

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
