- JSjulie skolerAug 14, 20255.0We are so happy with Home Instead. All the caretakers are highly competent, and the agency is so easy to work with. They are flexible and always willing to accommodate needs. My father has felt safe with the agency’s caretakers during a very vulnerable time. He is 95 and completely mentally sound. Recently, he had a life changing fall and lost some of his physical independence. He was stressed and scared. Being used to his privacy, he was also worried about the comings and goings of helpers. While very happy with all them, when he met one of the care takers, Tamara Brooks, he remarked that she was top notch. I agree! Dad says Tamara is smart, pleasant, willing, industrious. and cooperative, that she does five times what a typical person does during their shift, much more than just care. She is a self- starter; so once she learns your routine and likes/dislikes, you don’t have to tell her anything. She is energetic and takes so much initiative. My dad says that with her he doesn’t worry about anything; he feels so safe. “If I could have Tamara help me for the rest of my life, I would. I don’t worry about a thing when she is here. When I go to bed at night, knowing that she was coming the next day, it would eliminate my anxiety. With her I felt safe and secure. And that’s worth gold. It’s very rare that one person has so many strengths and good qualities.” We lucked out with Home Instead!
