I keep calling to update my reservation due to the technical difficulties online — called 5 times no answer. Seems like the phone is off the hook, send help.

CorePower Yoga is the perfect combination of calisthenics, strength training, and sweat. I started going this week and have already been 5 days in a row (the 7 day free trial a god send). I’m really enjoying it and Mia, Olivia and Nicole have been great!

this studio SMELLS and is overpriced considering the teachers don’t get paid a fair wage, they don’t have professional cleaners and don’t have a front desk person. They also pack people in the classes like sardines. if you like personal and clean spaces would not recommend coming here. Also if you want a spot in class you def have to come 15-10 mins before the class starts for the morning and evening classes. The amount of people that save multiple spots for others in class is honestly ridiculous and shouldn’t be allowed. corepower corporate and management do better!!!

Gigi M’s class - if you have any sort of disability that requires you to make a modification to the instructors already poorly formed flow, do not go to her class. I have arthritis which requires me to make modifications where needed (In yoga it’s supposed to be your own practice with your own modification so I Shouldn’t even need to explain this, but it’s important for the story) And during squats, I had to put a block under my heels and do a modified squat because of the pain in my knees and Gigi came up to me in the middle of class and asked “ What are you doing?” With a look on her face as if she just smelled rotten fish. Before I even had a chance to tell her about my arthritis. (Mind you she didn’t even take the time to ask anyone in the beginning of class if anyone has any injuries she should know about) She said” Why aren’t you in the back of the class then?” Disgusted.
I’ve taken over 200 classes at multiple studios and I’ve never seen anything like this.

I’ve been practicing at CorePower in the SF Bay Area almost daily for the past 4 months. I decided to pop into the Brickell location while I was visiting. I went to 2 classes. Unfortunately the first time I went I was almost in tears after arriving. After going the wrong way and eventually asking a stranger on the street how to get up to the studio and for the access code. I showed up to my 10:30am sculpt class AT 10:30 to find out that they had given my spot to someone on the waitlist. When I asked what happened they said that I needed to get there earlier because they start classes on the hour and give away waitlist spots to those who aren’t on time. I understand that this is a business, but you should wait at least 5 minutes before giving away someone’s spot, as per their policy. No one seemed that apologetic and they used the excuse of busy holidays. So frustrating after taking the time to get there and then getting lost on the way up.
I understand that the staff was probably doing their best. Amani in particular was kind in trying to help me find solutions but I was bothered that the other 4/5 staff members who were there didn’t seem to feel too badly about giving away my spot when I showed up right on time. To me that says something a bit deeper about the culture and value of customers here.
I never received an email or text with the elevator access code, it was totally up to me to figure out how to get into the building my first time. This was the reason I was not 5 min earlier. I understand that they ask you to be early, but showing up on time should still allow you to participate in the class. Staff offered to put me into Hot Power Fusion instead which was happening next door, but of course this is a very different class, so it wasn’t the greatest solution but it was all they could do at that point. I took the class and was fighting back tears and frustration for the first half of it.
The class (taught by Alli) was lovely, so I thankfully left feeling better mentally and physically. I took a sculpt with Amani a couple days later and it was lovely. The room was too full. we BARELY all fit and were squeezing beyond the floor markers, but thankfully some nice people moved to make it work.
The quality of the classes and instructors are amazing (the Corepower standard is always high). The studio is beautiful and the amenities are clean. However, I felt that a culture of customer care was lacking and that classes are being overbooked. I also hope something is done to communicate for first timers better. Even just an email with the elevator code.
