VERY DISAPPOINTED
My daughter has scheduled 3 times with Dr Escalona and 3 times have been cancelled
We are talking about since February waiting, last time we had to wait 3 month
Today she didn’t show up for the tele-health not the NP and they had the nerve to say my daughter logged on late after waiting for 34 min
The “supervisor” was extremely rude, calling us liars because we were late for the call.
My appt with her was also cancelled without explanation
Never going back
I’ve been going to Baptist Endocrinology for the past five years. Never have I had an issue. Not sure if the administration has changed not sure anything anymore. But this is the second time that my prescription has not been filled because Baptist Endocrinology has not reached out to my pharmacist. Right now I have no insulin we requested a refill a month ago And yet right now there’s no I have no insulin. I guess Baptist doesn’t care that they could be a liability for my health since I’m a type one diabetic.
Don't waste your time. I should have read the reviews first.

They claim to be Specialist Endocrinologist. NOT. I went to Baptist by request from Dr Estrada. End result they said nothing was wrong with me. I had a high calcium level, sick all the time . They said my Parathyroid’s were NORmal. Come back in 6 mths. Because their “ specialist team met “ to discuss my case and felt there was nothing wrong.
My kidney count and Parathyroid counts were elevated. calcium was high . I went to a Neuphroligist here in Key West where I live, whom recommended sending The Baptist Diagnostic and scan, and blood work to The Norman Parathyroid hospital in Tampa, whom immediately scheduled surgery a week later. I had 3 Parathyroid tumors, and 3 1/2 Parathyroid glands removed. I was in really bad shape. Had I trusted the Office of Dr Estrada at The Baptist Hospital in Kendall, I would be dieing of this Hyperparathyroidism, and Hyperplasia disease. I am now left with 1/2 a gland out of 4, and 3 tumors removed. How can they say there is nothing wrong with me and just dismiss me like that? I will tell you it’s because they are not specialist in endocrinology.
