They have been great with my kids and had a great bedside manner. It this time this doctor was condescending and not very nice to kids that need a little more understanding than normal due to their condition. Hopefully she changes for the better and offers better care to the next family.

While we were told it was a virus, the experience with Dr. Serrano Toyos was very disappointing. Her bedside manner was poor, with little empathy or tact when speaking to us and to my child. She made unnecessary comments describing my daughter as “very hyper” and suggested she should see her primary care doctor, which felt judgmental and unrelated to the reason for our visit. My daughter is a healthy, happy child, and we expected a more compassionate and respectful approach in a pediatric hospital. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I do not recommend this facility, especially during the night shift.
