- NNNadja NikulinNov 3, 20255.0My baby has been hospitalized since Thursday night, after a doctor at another children's hospital (Di Maggio Hospital) refused to admit her because her symptoms were considered "normal" due to having three viruses. When I arrived home with my daughter in the same condition, with a very high fever and difficulty breathing, I brought her that same night to Nicklaus Children's Hospital. The emergency room doctor didn't hesitate to admit her because of her condition and because the X-ray showed signs of pneumonia. My daughter is still hospitalized (it's been four days), and I am so grateful that they listened to me and believed my observations for six days when my daughter's fever wouldn't break. It's a hospital where they have treated us with great respect and empathy. I will be forever grateful because they are doing everything they can to help my baby recover so we can go home safe and sound.

Salí con las mismas dudas con las que entré, sin ninguna explicación sobre su estado de salud. El médico me vio vagamente y nos dijo a que iba a ver a la otra doctora a ver qué podían hacer ,nos asignaron a personal que claramente no estaba capacitado, y durante los procedimientos: La extracción de sangre fue extremadamente lenta y mal realizada. Intentaron colocar una sonda vesical de manera inadecuada, causando sangrado e inflamación en mi hija, y digo intentaron porque luego de tanto sufrimiento no lograron terminar La atención fue peligrosa y traumática, y no recibimos orientación adecuada sobre cómo proceder, ya después de varias horas en el lugar y todo lo ocurrido, llegó una señora que recogió una última muestra y nos dijo los van a dejar ir pero si se pone peor vayan a una emergencia, así sin decir que habían arrojado los análisis realizados , porque al no ser ella médico no podía discutir eso con nosotros y así nos fuimos sin ni siquiera saber que podría ser lo que estaba enfermando a nuestra hija. No recomendaría este lugar para atención pediátrica urgente.
