I took my daughter in for a finger injury and wanted to share how great the experience was. She was in a lot of pain when we arrived, but we left feeling much better thanks to the team.
Nurse Carolina was very kind and attentive. She made her feel comfortable right away and was gentle throughout the visit. NP Beatriz was also great. She was thorough, explained everything clearly, and made us feel at ease with the plan.
Noslen in X-ray was amazing. He was very fast and efficient, and also really nice, which helped calm her.
Overall, it was a really positive experience. Everyone was caring and professional, and I truly appreciate how they took care of her.
Upon entering the greeting security and staff were wonderful. As was the triage nurse and the attending nurses. The doctor though? His bedside manner needs a little work. He saw me less than 2 minutes - did not even properly check my symptoms and I ended up in the ER the next day instead of better. He seemed bored and bothered rather than attentive. Definitely not the norm or what I expected from a Baptist physician.
I arrived at 8 pm expecting to spend a few hours to be seen. The front desk person was processing patients very efficiently. The triage tech was bringing back patients quickly and I was seen, diagnosed, was dispensed antibiotics and was home within the hour. The ARNP that treated me was the best. Thank you Miami Lakes Baptist Health Urgent Care Staff!

Very good experience overall except for the ending Registration, which is very in personable, and and in personable, considering that you are there because you are not feeling well, and literally have to leave the bed to obtain your personal documents to give to the person on the television screen or the computer. This should be continue to be done the way it was before with a real life person.
