I was a customer here, last year spent over $500 on glasses. This year my insurance changed, so I called to schedule an appointment. I have Lincoln or Spectra vision insurance, and pay extra to choose where I receive service. My initial phone call to this location was less than pleasant, the woman on the phone seemed irritated with my request, claimed my insurance probably wasn't accepted but she would check and call me back. I received the return call about 10 minutes later, she gave stating my insurance wasn't accepted. So I checked my insurance website, and there is the information provided in plain English. She had to call Lincoln, option 1 and option 4 to receive the information needed to process my appointment request. I tried to explain but she refused, sovi requested a manager. When the manager called back, he was also convinced my insurance wasn't not accepted at this location. The lack of service, and horrible experience has caused me to find another eye doctor. I always share amazing service when I receive it, this was a negative star experience. No empathy, no service, don't go here

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
