  Edit review: as you can see in her profile she says she’s employed by you….thats the concerning part. I am writing to raise serious concerns about conduct associated with an employee of Home Instead in the Cocoa, FL area. It has come to my attention that an individual identified as Lacey Renea may be using information obtained through her role in home healthcare to contact private individuals on social media (specifically Facebook Messenger), allegedly on behalf of patients. This type of behavior is highly inappropriate and falls well outside acceptable professional boundaries. Accurate, this raises major concerns about privacy violations, misuse of sensitive information, and potential breaches of confidentiality standards expected in healthcare settings. It is especially troubling that such outreach may involve referencing personal details or circumstances without consent, which can feel invasive and even threatening. Additionally, engaging in this kind of activity during working hours raises questions about professionalism, proper use of company time, and attention to patient care responsibilities. This situation deserves serious attention and a thorough internal review. Healthcare providers are entrusted with sensitive information, and maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical conduct is essential. I hope this matter is addressed promptly and appropriately to ensure patient trust and public confidence are upheld.

  Home Instead has been a godsend for our family since early 2024. In January 2024, our elderly Mom (who turns 87 this year) fell and broke her back, was hospitalized, went through rehab and needed home care. She also suffers from low vision, some hearing loss, lymphedema, minor kidney disease and a rare condition that causes migraine headaches. She is under constant treatment from a series of doctors. She lives alone in Cocoa Beach (where she wants to stay) and we (her children) live in California and New York. Our Mom could not stay in her home without the amazing care and attention she gets from the Home Instead team. Her primary caregiver (Kathy) is an absolute angel. She cooks, cleans, entertains, chauffeurs and takes Mom to lunches, dinners and social events. And that's only about half of what she does! With all of her medical issues, our Mom can be a real challenge. She has been hospitalized roughly a dozen times in the last two years, and Kathy has been with her through it all. She has an amazingly positive attitude and goes above and beyond every single week. She treats our Mom as if she were her own, and our Mom would be lost without her. We can't say enough about what a truly stellar caregiver and friend Kathy has been. In addition, Jane, the RN supervisor at the agency, is available to us whenever we need her. She also visits our Mom on a regular basis, which our Mom loves and which we so appreciate. We are so lucky to have found Home Instead, Kathy, Jane and the entire team!

  Home Instead has provided timely superlative care for my 83-year-old veteran father. Both Sara and Gissette have really stepped up to do a great job!

  I recently had spinal fusion surgery. I could have never made it through my recovery without the support of the staff from Home Instead. Their professional, caring, kind, conscientious, and encouraging staff was a blessing! Thank you so much!
