I’m going to start by saying I have a BS in health science with a focus on healthy lifestyle coaching and fitness science, and I do not agree at all with the review below me. This club is focused on safety, which is why you have to be approved for a level 2, additionally if you’re doing any Pilates with enough mind to muscle connection the level 1 classes being complained about by the reviewer is likely due to not putting enough into it. That being said, I’ve done every type of fitness you can imagine, I lifted heavy for years, I did group classes, pure barre, yoga, spin, and after multiple health issues and injuries was forced to change how I was active. I went from moving my body all the time to not being able to move it for years. It took its toll, I was always in pain and I obviously gained weight. I was not stoked on the idea of Pilates. Lifting heavy was something that had become a part of my identity. This studio and Pilates has changed my life. I’m able to move again and I it feels so good. I’ve been going to the studio for about a year. Even with my history in fitness science I still too had to be approved for level 2. I appreciated that. Each instructor had their own little flair which is nice, because everybody cues a little differently and sometimes it takes a certain cue for you to get it. But they all bring something so nice to the table, they’re quick to help if you have questions, and if you mention any injuries on the white board they make sure that anything you may need modified is told to you prior to doing it to ensure you’re safe. The ladies at the desk are also a joy. They’re so incredibly patient if you have any issues with scheduling, they know everybody and are always fun to chat with as well. As far as form goes, again, that’s on the client. You’re in a GROUP class, they cannot see everything you do. If you’re looking for somebody to constantly watch your form and correct there are amazing one on ones that do just that and are definitely nice to have as an option. I won’t pretend scheduling is easy, but the waitlist DOES work. I almost always get a class I’m waitlisted for. All in all I LOVE this studio. There’s an incredible amount of diversity of people from age to body shape and the environment created is one of camaraderie over our ailments and one that is truly based on being healthy. Not once have I heard a weight or outward appearance based comment, which is so rare in anything fitness related. Not one instructor saying “alright lets do this for the summer butt” but instead “alright we do this to keep mobility and keep our joints healthy. Im genuinely offended by the review below. Id pay good money to see that person do a level 2 class with the master instructor Cara, have an update the review after. If you want to focus on taking care of your body and pilates interests you and you want a non toxic environment to do it in, I cannot recommend this studio enough. The environment was one that made me feel so safe coming as somebody who balloond out and had to relearn my body.

    1. If you workout often, you're going to be sadly disappointed by the level 1 classes. It said I needed permission to enter the higher level classes & it was a bit frustrating. 2. I am a personal trainer and felt the form education was incorrect & outdated from the classes I did go to. I didn't feel like I was protected from potential injury, which makes or breaks a good instructor. Lastly, it's near impossible to make a class if you're even slightly busy. Hoping we can have more intense classes from other businesses in the area soon, because club pilates needs some help. Sadly I can't recommend it to my clients, so I wouldn't recommend it overall. YouTube's mat Pilates classes were way better :)

Great classes that really help strengthen my low back. Lauren gives excellent and anatomically accurate cues and I love the classes that she instructs.
