  I have been waiting for nearly two months to receive an appointment to start my IV in preparation for my surgery scheduled for March. Despite multiple phone calls, I received inconsistent information each time. I also spoke with a manager who took my contact information, but no follow-up was ever made.

  Dr is always very through and explains condition in great detail. Staff very efficient and friendly.

  Today I was refused treatment at So Florida Cancer Care in Margate because for the 17th time I was asked for a copayment that was the incorrect amount. The first time I told them they were incorrect I was told that since my Insuance had not paid them yet I would need to pay it and they would adjust it then. I did it even though being an insurance agent for 40 I know better than to trust a doctors office. Several times they made me pay the wrong amount for iron infusions therapy. When I got my statement and confronted the office manager again with proof. She said she'd put through the request. I changed my plan to a plan with no deductible. They continue to try to charge me so I requested the manager and told her I still have not recieved a refund. She nastilly stated that she sent an email and that's all she could do. I asked for the number to the businesses office and she said she was not allowed to give it to me. As I sat in the waiting room explaining to Humana that again I was dealing with this and the 1st time it happened Humana put me on 3 way speaker attempting to speak with her and fter 30 min was told she was to busy to talk to them. This time as she heard me speaking to them she announces that I won't be seen today and that I should leave. With Humana recording her and I stated that if I got sick over the weekend for not being treated I would contact a lawyer She then lies to The doctor and said I threated to sue him and that he needs to make me leave. Humana then called her and told her they had recorded everything and that I didn't do that. Just to advise you. Double check your deductibles. DONT PAY more than what your supposed to. This is why our premiums are so high and why the rich just get Richer. Don't let them take advantage of you when your ill. They do AND WILL KEEP DOING IT.
