Audrey is very patient with my mother who is 97 years old. My mother has 30% in one ear for hearing, the other ear is totally gone. Audrey is very understanding and explains everything to her. She works with her and her hearing aid as best she can. Audrey is a blessing.

very nice people at this location. On my first visit I learned a lot about my hearing and left with working hearing aids. Follow up visit a week later was also educational. I would recommend Connect Hearing Tavares to anyone that asks me, now that I can hear their questions. :)

Frequently Asked Questions About AudioNova

When should I use hearing protection?

You should always use hearing protection when engaging in high-noise recreational activities or work. These activities may include hunting, music concerts, motor sports, and/or construction. Noise-induced hearing loss can result from prolonged exposure to noise or a single, extremely loud event. The louder the sound, the quicker it can cause damage. If you notice ringing in your ears or temporary hearing loss after a loud noise exposure, the environment was too noisy and could be harmful. If that ringing or temporary hearing loss is persistent, it would be a good idea to contact us for a hearing evaluation.

Should I get my hearing tested?

If you suspect that you or a loved one may be experiencing hearing loss, it’s recommended that you seek help sooner rather than later. Hearing loss tends to develop gradually and is often noticeable to close friends and family well before the affected individual realizes it. Identifying and treating hearing loss promptly is crucial. Ignoring it could lead to significant long-term effects, such as increased risk of depression and dementia.
