This was my first experience at this location. I explained to the Tech, Seth, how terrified I was of needles. He showed absolutely no empathy or compassion compared to other Quest techs. I let him know that my vein rolls and not to gouge me repeatedly. After only getting 2 tubes, he started to yell and raise his voice at me, saying it was all my fault that I was moving. First off, I brace myself like I am on a ride and know NOT to move an inch. This is NOT my first Rodeo, so WHY would I move in the first place? I NEVER moved as he accused me of. I told him to pull the needle out as he was NOT going to draw my blood after he had bragged to me that he had been doing this for over 30yrs. He seemed to want to torture me and make me even more nervous and scared, and it worked. He also stated that my insurance may bill me as my doctor might have put an incorrect ICD code. A Technical error that could be easily fixed by the doctor, but he was extremely nasty about that, as if he wanted to make me more upset intentionally. When Cristy came, she was exactly l like all the other Quest techs I have had and very caring, but my pressure was high, and my blood was burning to the point it was extremely painful. She asked me if I wanted her to stop, but I wanted it over with and tried my best to block the pain. He hurt me so bad and bruised my arm that I began to cry, and I do not cry very easily and tolerate pain very well. NEVER in my life have I experienced a Quest blood Draw had I done so yesterday with Seth. I most likely will not be back to this location if this is the type of service and treatment given, that is for sure. He should be disciplined for his behavior and unsympathetic demeanor. As this is a behavior pattern for him. I am sure it will not be his last. I will also do a google review on this location.
