The Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center Emergency Department has earned state and national awards for the revolutionary ways we reduce wait times, provide faster diagnostic testing, and achieve better and safer patient care. Though we are one of the busiest single-site emergency departments in our nation, our patient wait times are exemplary.
Our team and processes have earned us the 2014 Innovation of the Year in Patient Care Award from the Florida Hospital Association and the 2014 EmCare Genesis Cup Award for healthcare innovation. We are also an Accredited Senior-Friendly Emergency Department by the American College of Emergency Physicians.
