- AMAnn McMillanNov 25, 20251.0If there was a NEGATIVE STAR that is what my RATING will be. This establishments needs to be reviewed by the Better Business Bureau. I’d signed up on the day of trail. Shortly after I was tested for a medical condition and I spoke to my doctor about activities I’m interested in and he had advised me to stop or refrain from such. I immediately called with no answer no return calls. Finally got through with someone and asked for membership cancellation- I was told I needed to come in person to have it canceled even though I’ve explained my situation of not being in Florida. I was told to scan the QR code as well. Mind you that code can only be found at the location. Not being in Florida or have anyone to go there to have it completed (I’m new to Florida) I’d asked multiple times if the QR code can be text to me and at every request it was denied and was asked for proof that I was unwell (which is a HIPPA violation) I’d stopped the payment through my bank. After doing so I received a text message asking about the payment and me again requesting cancellation - my absence from Florida with no family or close enough person to ask to head over there. With 2 missed payments for 10/16 and 11/16 (in my opinion felt threatened) when I was told either to clear my bill or be sent to collection on 11/18 I’d received a call from the collections company re: Club Pilates. I’ve felt exploited and violated. I went back and forth through text but the response on the other end was as cold as winter.
