  I Walked in off of the street with an emergency issue with my wife's vision. We have just moved to the area two weeks ago and my wife has just had cataract surgery about six weeks ago.She just started having a complication from the surgery that was done in South Carolina .. . The office Managers of Eye Specialist of Mid-Florida P.A. were able to recognized the situation as urgent. They used their network with Specialty Eye Surgeons to get an Appointment for us the next day ! Getting My Wife Immediate attention for her eye care ... Thank you !   I’ve been coming to this location in Lake Wales for years and I have to give a big shout out to Sarah who has always taken excellent care of me. She has gone above and beyond with her performance and professionalism not only in getting me the best deals but also in explaining and answering any and all questions that I’ve had. Thank you Sarah!   I absolutely love Shandreka ! She is very calming especially when poking my eye ! She always give the best attitude and is so FRIENDLY ! Very Fast and efficient as well! As long as she’s there this will be my permanent eye doctor !

  In 2017, at the suggestion of my opthalmologist, I purchased two pair of glasses at the Lake Wales location. One pair had to be returned because they didn’t pass inspection. On February 4, 2019, I again visited Eye Specialists at Lake Wales again (silly me) and ordered two pair of glasses. I was told they’d be ready in 10-14 working days. Both pair had to be returned to the lab because they didn’t pass inspection. I see a pattern here, don’t you? My clear glasses are ready but my sun glasses are not and although I’ve made many phone calls, including another one yesterday, March 5, the sun glasses still aren’t ready. Both pair are for driving, we’re snowbirds and ready to go north and I need the glasses to make the trip home. My frustration is beyond description. They are reimbursing me for the sunglasses lenses so I’m only paying for the frames and I appreciate that. However, we’re into the fifth week since I am placed the order and I’m told it may be Monday, March 11th, before I have them. I’m betting that they won’t arrive before we leave on March 15th. Needless to say, I’ll go to another provider when I need to change my prescription.
