- ATAlphaKilo TangoMay 31, 20251.0I got an email reminder that I needed to have my annual eye exam. I scheduled online as usual. I received a call confirming my visit and also letting me know the visit would be virtual. I went into target did all the eye test and then saw the doctor virtually. I was then told the charge is $45. My plan for Target Optical is $10 for an eye exam. I inquired why is was $45? The store worker told me virtual visit cost more!!! At NO time during the confirmation or before the eye exam was I informed the cost would be higher. The manager or lead then asked the worker if she informed me of the virtual charge. I said no and the store clerk said no and kept her head down. The lead told her she had to inform patients the virtual cost more. They gave me a 30% coupon that expired a few days later. I was very annoyed and did not want to pick out glasses while being angry, so I left. That is so deceptive of Target optical! Now I see they are calling themselves Friendly Eye Optometry!!!! BATE AND SWITCH Would be a more apt name. I wishI could rate this a zero!
