I was rushed to the hospital last week with a heart rate of 170. I never saw a cardiologist before I was released so when I got home I researched heart docs. I read Dr Fenster’s credentials and decided I’d like to see him. I made the appointment. I was told I could not be seen until the end of the month. My symptoms became worse so I called and they told me there’s nothing they can do and go to the hospital. My hospital experience was less than shall I say stellar so I said, “c’mon, really? With that Jill became incensed and became very angry 😤! I’ve never had a problem with my heart, I was scared, alone, and needed a little empathy and compassion but there was none of that. I was told by Jill that perhaps I should find another practice. I was responded with “you’ve got to be kidding me?” With that she handed the phone to a much kinder woman who asked what I’d like to do with the appointment. I said I’d like to keep it. I was told they would make notes on my file about the call. They just called me and told me to find another doctor. Frankly, I’m glad this happened because I believe that Dr Fenster and some of his staff have attitudes that frankly I don’t need. They did me a favor, but I am still appalled. If you need a cardiologist, I would recommend a practice that treats people going through a rough time with kindness. You won’t find that anywhere at Fenster’s practice.
