I was referred to this practice by my therapist after a recommendation to continue my mental health medication. I provided my insurance information and received my quote for a consultation. To start, Nurse Nawaz was late to my telemedicine appointment. Within 15 minutes, I had been interrupted multiple times while giving my backstory to be told I basically don't know what I'm talking about. Mind you, I'm only sharing my past at this point. Within those 15 minutes, she reduced 25+ years of trauma to drinking too much caffeine. She continued to say, "You should probably consider another therapist if they referred you to me."
The experience itself was rude, dismissive and callous.
To add insult to injury, the provider tried to charge me the full amount for my 15 minute "consult". $688. Luckily, I have screenshots of the exchange within their mobile app.
I have been in battle with their billing department for a month to have the charges reduced to what was quoted.
My insurance got back to me today, and wouldn't you know, my bill is being reduced to the correct amount.
The worst part of this is that I'm now in a worse spot that I was to begin. Nervous to have another horrible experience like this one and possibly be charged 3x what I was quoted.
Nurse Nawaz is deplorable.

I just got a statement this morning for $95 from two visits in April 2021. My credit card was on file and they were supposed to charge it after every visit. For some reason they didn't and now I am just hearing about it two years later. This is ridiculous. Avoid this company.

I called Comprehensive last week to try and get help. Just a month ago I woke up to find my boyfriend I lived with deceased. I was told I would receive a call back about an appointment. So today, a week later I called them to find out why I had heard nothing from them. I was told " oh, well neither doctor was willing to take you on as a client ". This wasn't because of them being overbooked but they just didn't feel I met their criteria. And they know this how? Absolutely unprofessional. I never even got a call back!

Unfortunately, the President of the practice has no ethical standards whatsoever. The trouble is that him and his sister/cousin (not sure which) who is also a doctor there are probably the two worst people I’ve ever met in my life.
They don’t care about you AT ALL. They only care about getting paid. They may think I’m going to drop the whole thing and walk...not a chance.
It’s a shame because I have no doubt that some good doctors work here. But do they know they’re working for a total scam artist? Just a brief example, they had me self pay, then accepted payment from my insurance, then refused to give it back to me because they said it was a “forensics” case which it was not. I have proof of that, they’ll find out soon enough. They owe me $1,951.86 then they LIED and said they returned the payment to the insurance company. I have confirmed with my insurance that payment has not been returned to them.
I’m not even going to get into the HIPAA violations that they made. As a healthcare professional myself I have taken countless courses on HIPAA. We have an appellate court system for a reason. I don’t know if they pulled some kind of political stunt but a complaint does NOT go to the prosecution services unit for no reason. There was a reason and the reason was very simple...Dr. Parsons is a complete idiot for what she did to me. I think her words to me in an email were “I’m sure this has caused you a great deal of emotional distress” ....that’s basically admitting guilt. The damages that I now have to put up with for YEARS to come are irreversible. I am 100% certain neither of you care. Go ahead and think you won, you didn’t. Karma is REAL. This isn’t over.
If Dr. Kanter wants to jump in and make some sort of unprofessional comment (which I’m sure he will) it will consist of lies, belittling, and who knows what else. I have seen him do it to other people who complain at other locations. He openly gives out information about the patient or patient’s family on a google review now what does that tell you? Screams unprofessionalism, lack of integrity, zero compassion for patients or people in general, and simply shows the validity of my claim. If he doesn’t jump in, it’s probably because he knows I will use every bit of info I can on him.
Just another example: when I first started at Comprehensive MedPsych Systems I saw Dr. Vallrugo who was very good. She left the practice because of how horribly it was run. After her I went to Dr. McDonald, she was a good doctor and I never once had an issue with her or her receptionist Lindsay. In fact, that’s what’s so upsetting....there are some good doctors here but the president of the practice is a scum bag. It’s unfortunate I can’t continue to see Dr. McDonald because of this scum bag.
Karma is real.
Babur Bhatti prescribed two medications for my wife. She's having serious side effects, but the website for the medication says not to discontinue without consulting the doctor. Comprehensive Med-Psych Systems says she has to come in and he won't talk to her on the phone. So... a doctor who won't help a patient unless they drive in to the office after telling them she's got vertigo and can't drive. Obviously all they care about is collecting that money. Sad.
