  The entire staff was friendly welcoming professional and patient. They were knowledgeable and informative and convenient. I love this location over the Jax Beach location bc it’s not as busy so you don’t feel like you’re being rushed

  I've had several experiences with this organization, all have been exceptional & positive until today. I came in for a pre cataract session to measure certain aspects of my eyes. I paid my $45 out of pocket expense as usual. Towards the end of the session the Dr told me the machine needed to complete the process was inoperative and I would need to return and schedule that visit while I was there. Also I could meet with their scheduler and pick the dates for the cataract surgery on both eyes on to separate dates. My first issue is they said I'd have to pay another $45 out of pocket expense! Why, the issue is their problem not mine, I'm there for appointment that requires the machine to measure my eyes, they know it doesn't work and go ahead with the rest of the process and want me to come back when the machine is fixed and pay $45 again, that is close to a scam. In addition to that, the scheduler presents me with an option of cataract surgery for roughly $250 per eye after my insurance pays their share or she recommended laser surgery for about $2700 per eye. She is not a medical person and try's to justify the higher price as a better procedure and with higher probability of success and more certainty that I would not have to wear glasses after surgery, I don't use glasses now. The scheduler is not the person who should make this proposition. I met with two excellent Dr here and while they said there were two types of procedure and one cost $5009 no discussion followed. Frankly this has shaken my confidence in using Atlantic Eye for anything. Highly disappointed.

  This place! This incredible place! I'm a patient of Dr. Felver, a very patient, thorough not to mention very professional. A very kind Optimologist. Then there's the ever golden Jazma up at the receptionist area. Golden bc she has gone above and beyond the help I needed. (Medical records need to be faxed to DDS and she said she was willing to help me do that. Actually completely do it. I thanked her for this and twice on Sunday! Thanks again, Jazma! You are gold!! I recommend this place to anybody who needs a check up, new glasses/contacts. I swear by them!
