Our practice was acquired in April 1997 and our physicians have 33 years of combined experience treating patients from age 4 years to geriatric. They are both residency trained in ocular disease management from fully-accredited residency programs. Only approximately 10 percent of graduating optometric physicians complete residencies.
Our board-certified, licensed optician, Vincent Campbell, has over 30 years of experience and has been a part of our practice since its inception. He has a local reputation for outstanding technical ability in his field and savvy frame-styling skills.
Our administrative support staff, Miss Karlene Matthew and Mrs. Melanie Haines-Silvestri, have also both been a part of our practice for several years. Through their experience, they are adept at navigating insurance plans and coverage to ensure that you can be confident in utilizing your benefits correctly and thoroughly.

- GGGhuampsFeb 13, 20265.0My family and I have been visiting specifically this optometrists office to see Doctor Chen & Vincent and seeing these reviews makes me feel horrible for their business because these are two incredibly intelligent individuals with an amazing partnership as well as a great staff. There are several broken english reviews that don’t even use the proper gender when referring to the staff as though they did not receive care so I doubt the validity of those off bat, almost all these reviews anyways have something to do with the fact that YOUR insurance doesn’t cover something and that is not the fault of this institution take it up with your provider NOT the optometrists desk staff, the perception of these individuals not being kind to you goes hand and hand with the fact that these people treat you as a PERSON and expect you to be intelligent as well as patient. The staff here feel like human beings with lives who’ll tell you about them when you ask because that’s exactly what they do, with the utmost in professionalism yet still cold casual will suggest you styles befitting of your features, talk to you about YOUR insurance and your coverage in specific instances, examine you and prescribe you quickly, and final nail in the coffin, I myself was a child coming to this establishment until adulthood and have never once been dissatisfied with my service here so to all the reviews that say they’re not nice to kids I can call that out as well as even as a child I was treated as though I was an intelligent adult. I don’t mean to be a hater but you and your 89 year old mother need to KNOW what medicaid covers, need to have the time to be courteous in a professional sense, and stop hindering the work of a solid team.

- AAAlina AgolliNov 14, 20251.0Please stay away from Dr.Chen and his team. Very rude and disrespectful staff. My mom is an elderly lady and was treated with such unprofessionalism and ruddnes. Never seen anything like that. Terrible doctor and front desk staff. The doctor should not be allowed to treat patient this way. Should have done my research and read previous reviews. Definitely will be filling a complaint to Humana so no more elderly people get misstreated by Doctor Chen and her front desk staff.
