  I like Dr. Makati at Archwell Health in Holiday Florida mainly because he takes his time, doesn't hurry through the appointment, answers all my question and discusses everything with me in a way that I can understand.

  Just need to update a review. Archwell Health has been the best medicine for seniors. Dr. Makati is the most amazing doctors. He is focused on treating conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension and is an internist. He earned my trust and the results have been excellent. I like that he wants to help prevent any decline in my health status. Too the office staff are amazing, like Maria. She calls back, she gets the info. When I talk with her I feel cared for. I am treated like royalty eventhough I am not special. This is the best senior medicine in Pasco county. They have 2 locations. Their Holiday office is next to Winn-Dixie. Their other office in New Port Richey. If I have need for one of my specialist Dr. Makati refers me to the doctors I have had for my chronic issues. I promise you will not be disappointed. They have Silver Sneakers program and a variety of activities centered around wellness. As you wait they offer snacks, coffee & water. I honestly believe that this nurse, now retired, knows I will get the care I need with clinical experts. There is a man named Jay, he is a supervisor, and when I walk in he is very welcoming as are the ladies at the front desk. I am highly recommending Dr. Makati and Archwell Health as a premier health care provider. If you are trying to decide whether to go then call them. My hope is you will be as pleased with my care as you are with yours. I really like that Dr. Makati is an internist so he trumps family practices who may not be as updated as Dr. Makati. If nothing else he knows me inside & out. I am very happy that Dr. Makati and his health team earnes 5 ☆ care. Thanks to all!

  warning ….do not take an orderly person here …..that whole place is set up to entrap old people .some lady took my mother there and they ended up taking her driver license away ….. so then they can have her ride their arrange transportation.and they even wanted to put a nurse on her house so they can hit her Medicare .the dr very professional she is fluent in Spanish and English.the rest of the staff is very rude.nasty .Warning don’t take old people there…..

  As always, Dr Makati spent a good 30 minutes with me explaining more than any other doctor has ever explained. He is not just a "treatment" doctor, but one who wants to know what causes the issue. Returned the next day and with a simple finger prick, got my HBA1C results in 5 minutes.I highly recommend ArchWell and Dr Makati.
