- KMKathy McLeod5 days ago1.0I had my eyes checked in July 2025 and was given someone else’s prescription. When I realized the error, I requested mi e which was sent immediately. I came beck in September to get glasses and was treated rudely and inappropriately by the optical staff and ended up going to JC Penny for my glasses. It took about 5-6 weeks for one of my pairs to be completed which I ended up coming back in for refitting as I wasn’t seeing clearly. Believing that my scrip was wrong, I made an appt to have the scrip checked. Turned out it was wrong. I spoke to Ruby in optical about replacement options and was told that JCP already made their money so they should replace the lenses for free. I ended up paying $298 to JCP to get new lenses. At no time was there an offer to replace the lenses at Pearle or reimburse me for the error in the scrip. I have been getting my eyes checked at Pearle for over 15 years and getting my glasses there as well and will never come back.

The selection of frames and increased insurance programs they take made all the difference in allowing us a fair and very reasonable one stop shop for our eye care! Go see these guys! You won’t be sorry.
