I go to this LensCrafters every year because my Opthamologist is here. I always have a great experience. Andrea was amazing. I found a new pair of frames and we ordered my lenses and it is always a very smooth experience. Thank you

Kathy, the general manager, was amazing in helping me out of a true pinch. I am on vacation in Florida and I tore one of my specialty contact lenses. She helped me find an interim pair that work well and will get me home safely. I truly appreciate her expertise and kindness.

I came into LensCrafters today with a pair of designer glasses, expecting professional service, and unfortunately that was not my experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome and treated differently. A gentleman initially tried to assist me and was polite, but another female employee quickly inserted herself into the interaction and completely shifted the tone. Her attitude was dismissive and unpleasant, and she came across very rude. The energy felt off and uncomfortable, and I can’t ignore that it gave me a subtle discriminatory vibe. I came in simply asking for help with my own designer frames. There was no reason for the attitude or the lack of professionalism. Customer service should be respectful and welcoming to everyone. I hope management addresses this, because no one should feel judged or mistreated when they walk into a store.

Went in with a prescription from my eye doctor. Sharon was wonderful, showing me a nice selection of frames. She was very meticulous doing the measurements. When I picked up my glasses, I ordered a second pair as a back up. Again, Sharon's attention to detail was terrific. Very impressed.

Ophthalmologist / exam side: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The doctor and medical staff were absolutely amazing. Even though my son is only 3 years old, they were incredibly patient, kind, and thorough. They explained everything in detail, made sure we understood the exam, and even offered us water, which was very thoughtful. They made my child feel comfortable and safe, and that means a lot as a parent. Truly a great experience on the medical side. Retail / glasses side: ⭐ Unfortunately, the retail experience completely ruined the visit. The young employee named Ana had a clear attitude from the start. When I asked questions about our options for glasses, she seemed annoyed and frustrated, as if it was a problem that I wanted to understand what we were buying. Even worse, her behavior came across as angry and impatient toward my 3-year-old son, which is completely unacceptable. Because of her attitude and lack of professionalism, we decided to walk out without purchasing any glasses. It’s very disappointing that such excellent medical care is paired with such poor customer service on the retail side. Management really needs to address this, because it cost them a sale and left a bad impression.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
