During my visit, the gym’s manager, Shauna, not only treated me with blatant disrespect in front of other members, but also recorded me and my daughter without our consent. This was deeply invasive and completely unacceptable. Her behavior was discriminatory and humiliating, and it created a hostile environment where we felt targeted and unsafe. I came to the gym to focus on wellness—not to be harassed or filmed by staff. Planet Fitness needs to take accountability and ensure their managers uphold basic standards of respect and privacy. I expected better from a brand that claims to be a “Judgement Free Zone.”
