- KNkimberly notoNov 9, 20255.0As a mother nobody wants to see their child having to struggle with their vision. I struggled when I was a kid and it was terrible until I got glasses. My daughter Kamrynne did not want to get glasses. She was straining so bad walking right up to the TV to see it. Finally I got her into the doctor and Dr Hendricks was absolutely incredible! My daughter felt bad and embarrassed that she couldn't read the letters up on the screen. Dr Hendrix reaction was telling my daughter that that's good that she couldn't read the letters on the screen that's what she wanted because it means that she was right with her math. She told her my daughter now we can get you the right glasses so that you can see! Immediately my daughter felt better and smiling. We did the deal the $40 with two pairs of glasses. Money is tight right now so I had to leave and go borrow the money and come back. The place closes at 7:00 I came back at 6:30 praying that they could still get her glasses today. I wasn't very hopeful but James made it happen! He was so good with my daughter and saw how much she really needed those glasses. At first he told me it really wasn't going to be able to happen they didn't have enough time. But he made the time and he got both of my daughter's glasses made. It was like the first time she could ever see when she put on her glasses she was walking up to stuff she was reading the signs outside she was so happy. When we got in the car she asked me when do we get to go back to the eye doctor Mommy! That's always what you want to hear as a parent! So again thank you to everybody at Dr Hendricks office you guys are the best! You performed a miracle really you made it easy for my little girl to be able to see! And she got such a good report the first day back at school the teacher saw the difference immediately!
