- GWGail WoodleyJan 2, 20261.0I walked out of this appointment! This doctor was very condescending during the exam. He told me that my vision was the same as last year. I informed him once again that it has been much harder to read street signs when driving, watching TV and on the computer. He then said, oh lets check you distance vision. This was after he told me my proscription didn't change. He than gave me a speech of how progressive work like he was a professor teaching a class. I have worn progressive for years and understand how they work. I have NEVER walk out of a doctors office during an exam. I was told by the staff the I could come back on 1/4/26 to see the Doctor I saw last year but they would have to see if I would be charged for the exam. NOT at all happy this this ophthalmologist however, the staff was great!!
