We had an associate today in Coral Springs named Laura. She was the most helpful associate we’ve ever had at this location. She went above and beyond answering questions that we did not even know we needed to ask. Great experience.

Horrible, Horrible customer service.i went in and there were three associates. Two had customers and one was busy on the iPad so I started walking, and walking and looking. Not ONE said hello, Acknowledged me or asked if they could help. Why do I care?? We ll two other people came in after me and were immediately asked if they could be helped by the very people that seemed SO busy. Or atleast too busy to attend me. After a third person came in and one of the ones that had a customer immediate to attend her I said forget this places the frames I picked out my self with no help and just started walking out. iPad lady made eye contact with me and still said NOTHING!!!!! Horrible experience.

This phenomenal establishment saved lives (seriously). I am an active duty member that was just assigned to the area. I was given short notice (3 days) that I would have to fill a gap on a cutter. My second pair of glasses that I am required to have was lost in my HHG. I called and spoke with the assistant manager explaining the circumstances. Unfortunately my prescription was expired. She understood my circumstances and walked over to the doctors office and got me in for an appointment the same day! After my appointment I waited to speak with her as she was on the phone (rude customer that I could hear yelling on the phone. I want to say Booker? Broker? As he was yelling it, couldn't tell the exact name as he had a new England accent) after she got off the phone she through on her customer service cape. I was worried that my glasses would not be ready prior to getting underway. She showed me some glasses that met the uniform standards AND MADE MY LENSES! I had new glasses the same freaking day! And they were better than my standard issued pair! I didn't know I could see the world so crystal clear. After getting underway, we got on a SAR case and saved a family of 3. Without LensCrafters support, I would have not seen the epirb. THANK YOU!!!!

I'd like to take an opportunity to recognize FORTUNA HORNREICH of Coral Springs Lenscrafters for an exceptional & memorable customer experience. I visited the location a few months ago for a frame adjustment to prescription eyeglasses I previously purchased from LensCrafters at Macy's. From the moment I entered the store, Fortuna acknowledged my presence with a cheerful & welcoming smile. She asked what I needed, then assured me I was next to be helped once she completed fitting the current customer. While waiting, I noticed how she was pleasant, patient, personable and attentive. When it was my turn, Fortuna explained that normal daily eyewear requires strong materials, maintenance & careful handling by the wearer. Which was why my eyeglasses had not met my expectations. She took time to identify how delicate are my frames & demonstrated how to be extra careful when removing eyewear. She further cautioned I may need future professional adjustments. I was grateful that Fortuna took the time to listen to my concerns. Painstakingly, she searched through many screws to find the right one to fix my glasses! She made precise adjustments, replaced nosepads and thoroughly cleaned my lenses. Before leaving, I asked her to recommend frames that would meet my needs. She was delighted to help me choose the perfect pair of glasses that matched my style and was exactly what I was looking for. She truly understands her customers and her products. Fortuna gives 3000% to her customers while displaying exceptional pride in her work as a true professional. She made the experience so easy and fun - I was extremely happy that the entire process was quick and hassle-free, so I’ll absolutely be returning for future purchases! Thank you so much & may GOD BLESS YOU FORTUNA HORNREICH!

Follow-Up (Updated Experience): Unfortunately, things have only gotten worse since my original review. I learned that my lenses had actually been sitting in the office since December 4th—yet I never received a single call or notification. I was told the lenses would be ready for installation on December 17th, so I went in on December 16th to drop off my frames. At that point, I was told the lenses would be installed between 10:30 AM and 2 PM on the 17th. No one called me. Around 3 PM, I called the store myself and was left on hold for ten minutes before an assistant manager finally picked up. I was then told the lab had made my lenses incorrectly and that the entire ordering process had to be restarted from the beginning. What makes this even more frustrating is that the lenses had been sitting there for six days, and they didn’t need my frames to realize they were wrong. That means no one checked them. Zero quality control.A process I was told would take 5–10 business days is now turning into a month-long ordeal. The conversation with the assistant manager was just as disappointing. She claimed I was “yelling,” and I explained that I have a hearing issue and naturally speak loudly. When I truly yell, the neighbors can hear me. Instead of acknowledging my disability, she dismissed it and said she comes from an Italian family in New York so she “knows yelling.” Completely unprofessional. I was offered temporary lenses without transitions—but that would make daytime driving unsafe for me. When I asked if the replacement lenses could be rushed or sent next-day, I was told “No, we can’t do that.” She hung up on me twice. I asked about a discount given the massive delay, poor communication, and complete lack of service. Instead of taking responsibility, the assistant manager blamed the situation on me “not having a backup pair.” For the record, I did bring backup glasses to my exam. The Doctor told me to throw them away because my prescription had changed. The assistant manager claimed that never happened, despite admitting she wasn’t even present that day and had no knowledge of my medical exam. I was not offered a discount. Instead, the assistant manager seemed eager to refund me and push me out the door—leaving me to spend even more time and energy trying to secure glasses so I can safely drive at night and in sunlight. Every piece of information I was originally given was inaccurate. This location is disorganized, understaffed, poorly managed, and completely lacking in communication or accountability. After 40 years of wearing glasses, I have never had an experience this bad. This place was quick to charge my card and unbelievably slow—and careless—about providing the basic medical product I need to see. I’m genuinely shocked that a medical facility could treat a patient this way. Follow Up: A rep from Lens Crafters called me after 30 days and fixed the situation. I was satisified with the outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
