  Dr. Paraliticci is truly exceptional. From my very first consultation through my hip replacement surgery and post operative care, his expertise, professionalism, and sense of humor immediately put me at ease. He is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made me feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. His staff is just as outstanding. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The level of customer service both before and after my surgery was unmatched, and I always felt supported and well taken care of. I am now on my second day after hip replacement surgery and I am already able to walk with minimal pain, which speaks volumes about the quality of his work. I am beyond grateful to have found Dr. Paraliticci and could not be happier with my results. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate surgeon.

  Service is great but Parking is unrealistic. 30+ mins looking for parking, when i finally found a spot it was for valet parking only, they would not let me park there unless I drove back down and let them park it, I explained that I had personal items in the car and they told me that if I did not let them park it my car it would get towed. I offered to pay as long as I kept my keys and they said its free.. keeps me wondering why we're they so persistent on having the keys to my car. I had to leave the property and park else where...

The staff was consistently attentive, organized, and supportive, ensuring that every step of the process was clearly explained and smoothly handled. The medical team showed outstanding expertise and coordination, making what could have been a stressful experience feel manageable and reassuring. A special note of gratitude goes to the doctor, whose skill, patience, and dedication were evident from the initial consultation through the surgery and follow-up care.   The entire pre-op and post-op teams were fantastic! Great bed side manner, and constantly checking in on me to ask if I had any questions or concerns, especially, Roy, Arelys, Fabiola, John, Loyda Vivian, the PT. My room was a revolving door and it was much appreciated because it relieved me from my anxiety. The team that transported me to the OR, as well as the team inside the OR were extremely professional and accommodating. This demonstrates the outstanding professionalism, genuine care and involvement that Dr. Van der ven has instilled on his team. He is a great leader and very knowledgeable. I truly appreciated his attention and advice every step of the way. I will recommend him to anyone who asks me for an Orthopedic Surgeon, especially since it's located at the "U". Let's Go Canes!

  The nurses in my area on the floor were terrific. My husband and son were anxiously waiting for status reports on the waiting room board, which wasn’t kept up. When it appeared to be taking a few HOURS longer per the board, my son frantically spoke to the nurse in charge of the board. “Sorry, I forgot to update it.” was her reply. Visitors all around were getting calls from their surgeon. Ours neither called nor came out to see my husband and son. This is my second surgery at Doctors Hospital and what a difference! A reaction to pain meds had me sleeping rather than waking up. My 1 1/2 hour surgery which started around 10:45 am kept us at the hospital until almost 7 am; very disappointing. My surgeon had been very good at giving information prior to surgery. Information after surgery would have been priceless.
