Eye Specialists of Mid-Florida, P.A. began as a small ophthalmology/optometry practice in downtown Winter Haven in the early 1960s. Through the 1970s & 1980s, the practice continued to experience growth and diversity with the addition of several doctors including optometrists and ophthalmologists. After outgrowing their existing location, a new clinic and ambulatory surgery center were built in Winter Haven in the early 1990s and another in Sebring a few years later. It was during this time the doctors moved toward more specialized treatment areas, and changed the name of the practice to Eye Specialists of Mid-Florida, P.A. Over the next two decades, Eye Specialists continued to expand its services into other communities in the Central Florida area, including Lakeland, Lake Wales, Haines City, Clermont, and Sebring to better serve the needs of our patients.

An enormous array of glasses to choose from. There was ZERO wait time! The staff is wonderful ESPECIALLY Stacy! I had a unique request that's out if the ordinary and they accommodated me without question. I tried Walmart optical and they wanted to make me jump through hoops and pay a fortune for my simple little request. Stacy was friendly, very professional and so sweet. When we were done Stacy didn't even charge me!!!! I was shocked and so grateful. Thank you Stacy I love you girl! I Highly recommend!

She was able to quickly diagnose that I had an infection and would need immediate relief. Without hesitation she prescribed me the correct medication and I was able to receive treatment within the hour ! If it wasn’t for her urgency I could have potentially lost sight in my eye ! She has been wonderful and supportive during my recovery and follow up treatment. Thank you for care and attentiveness Dr. Patel ! It is much appreciated
