We were so impressed with her professionalism and kindness that we came back three days later to get glasses for both my husband and myself. Melannie truly goes above and beyond for her customers, she’s a wonderful representative of what great service should be. Also the prices are really competitive! Jenna goes above and beyond and will do additional steps to research to see if the glasses you’re interested in might come in a different size and a color that you might like better. Her exceptional customer service, efficiency, and attention to detail is superior. I would not go anywhere else for glasses or an exam than this location (Gulf to Bay Blvd in Clearwater, FL) and I could not be happier!! I have bought a few pairs of glasses here over the years. They score a 1000 out of 10 in my review! I can not praise these employees enough!
- PPPayal P.Oct 26, 20252.0While the doctors and staff have always been kind and professional, I am giving it a 2 star rating due to the clinic policy mandating everyone get Optomap retinal imaging done for an additional $39. Optomap is not the standard of care and it is not medically necessary in every patient especially if they are young and don’t have chronic medical conditions. Board-certified ophthalmologists confirmed this as well. The standard of care is the dilated eye exam that can get a wider view of the retina than Optomap typically. I asked the receptionist if I get the dilated eye exam if I still have to do Optomap and I was told yes. The receptionist politely told me I can choose to go to another practice if I don’t want to get it done so I will. I would rather support another clinic who follows the standard of care (and keep Optomap as optional) and doesn’t mandate extra procedures just to increase their profit margins.
