  I hadn't been seen in a few years and I was having difficulty with distance. I made an appointment here not know my current contact lense prescription. They tested me and ordered me a different prescription. I spent 2-3 weeks with the new ones and I was unable to adjust to them. I looked up my old prescription from the company I ordered contacts from and went back and informed them I was ae to locate my old prescription for reference. Next thing I know the doctor comes in with a pair of contacts exactly to my old prescription. I put them in , he looked and said " your all set" Not thinking I ordered a years supply of contacts and glasses, that are basically hurting my eyes and I can't see well from this old prescription at least 2-3 yrs old. What a waste of money. DO NOT RECOMMEND

  This was the first visit since new ownership after Dr. Hatala retired. It’s was exceptionally service. The Dr. took time to explain everything in detail.

  The staff was extremely friendly, professional and answered all the questions I had. As soon as i arrived for my appointment, they were ready ti take me in. No waiting

  Our 10-y/o cannot read the chalkboard in class. Her teacher even mentioned it to us. We took her to Abuaita Eye Care for a vision test. She could not read the last 3 lines of the test -- my husband was there and watched her fail those lines -- but we were told she has 20/20 vision and does not need glasses. My husband asked about the 3 lines and the answer was, "The machine says she has 20/20 vision." He pressed and asked about her inability to read the chalkboard. The response: "Tell the teacher to write bigger." No follow-up questions. No discussion. No help. No concern. Then they gave her adult-sized paper glasses (which were absolutely too big and so essentially useless) to protect her eyes since they'd dilated them. We're taking her for a second opinion elsewhere.
