Manatee Memorial Hospital's Emergency Care Center (ECC), open since 2018, plays an essential role in caring for the urgent health needs of adults and children. The ECC features two separate treatment areas - one for patients who need more acute intensive care and the second for patients with less critical conditions and minor illnesses. Child-centered emergency services feature a pediatric hospitalist on staff from 2 p.m. to midnight.
