Club Pilates Braden River is a boutique Pilates studio specializing in reformer fusion classes for anyone, at any age or fitness level. Pure to Joseph Pilates’ original Reformer-based Contrology Method, but modernized with group practice and expanded state-of-the-art equipment, Club Pilates offers high-quality, life-changing training at a surprisingly affordable price.
I’ve always loved Pilates and previously had a membership at Club Pilates without ever having issues with instructors. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was very different.
Pat made me feel uncomfortable and unable to fully enjoy my workout. She spoke to the class in a way that felt condescending and would yell when positions weren’t correct, rather than calmly explaining or demonstrating the adjustments. While I don’t mind hands on corrections, the way she handled them felt forceful and unnecessary.
Overall, it didn’t feel like a supportive or welcoming environment. I won’t be joining and would not recommend this location.

I don’t usually go out of my way to leave bad reviews. Went in with my little sister yesterday, who previously was a member at Club Pilates at a different location and spoke highly of the company. We came in for an intro class and Pat, the instructor, was incredibly rude from the start and not welcoming whatsoever. She was hands-on to correct our positions, which we usually have no problem with, but she was forceful for no reason. The way she spoke to us was degrading and it left us with discomfort and infuriated by the end of class. I’ve taken plenty of workout classes before, but never had an experience like that. Will not be returning.
I’m also surprised to see recent reviews reporting the same issue about Pat’s professionalism but have not addressed the issue, even though the co-manager and front desk ladies was on site and could clearly hear the way she talked to us with the mic on.

I decided to give this studio a try simply due to class pass and having free credits. I have over 100 completed classes at another studio in which I love. I quickly realized I was in a toxic environment during my class. Which was surprising to me because I normally am surrounded by uplifting instructors when I workout. During my workout I was stretching and pat on the microphone said “are you listening to me?” Which I thought was insanely rude due to the fact 1. It’s my body and MY workout and 2. Why the heck would you say that to me I was confused.
Honestly as a tired working mom I was disgusted by this attitude. I was on anxious alert the rest of the class… I left my infant to go to this class and be spoken to like that on a microphone? Being scolded and spoken to like that on a microphone was idiotic toxic instructor behavior. when I saw additional poor reviews about this instructor I was not surprised. It was actually super validating. I won’t be returning and I’ll tell all my Pilates friends not to come here either.

I had class scheduled this evening with Pat that I had booked with my mother. This was our first class & not knowing it was an intermediate class, we were advised by Pat in a rude manner to “stop trying to participate” but to watch the other ladies instead. Pat was made aware that we were beginners & that her 6:30pm class did not mention it was intermediate. Do not recommend.
