  Appointment was scheduled at 9am, we arrived at 9:19 am. The receptionist had an attitude to her and said she needs to ask the doctor because they only allow for 15 mins leeway after appointment time. We have 3 kids under 5 years old and one of them is a new born, so dropping off at day care + dealing with traffic (45 mins away) it was difficult to arrive exactly on time. Doctor Juan Otero refused to see us and asked to reschedule the appointment! The nescient receptionist said that by us being late we are delaying the other appointments in line… The clinic was EMPTY!!! Not a single patient!!! What type of laziness is that? When i said there are no other patients here the other nurse said “but that’s our policy…” if your policy is to alienate people and never to come back, that’s all fine. We don’t want to see a pediatrician who is lazy and turns away patients when he has nothing to do.

  Reviews on lack of empathy here are very accurate. If you want a doctor that DOES NOT care about you then this is the place for you. Doctor Juan Otero in endocrinology in particular. I arrived a few minutes late with a 20 month old and 4 month old baby and was asked to reschedule because I was a few moments late. With zero patients in the waiting room as well. Probably for good reason. STAY AWAY from doctors like this who lack empathy and understanding. They are just looking at the next patient as a dollar sign. What a shame!

  I would not recommend.I expressed my problems and concerns to the so-called doctor,Dr.Yonit Sterba Rakovchik,and she basically told me I was seeing the wrong specialist,when the problems I was having could be a rheumatological problem.She didn’t even care to order any tests or exams to be performed on me.She immediately assumed,without proper reason,that I was seeing the wrong specialist.My doctor recommended me to Dr. Yonit Sterba Rakovchik.She told me,and my mom,that she was a good specialist,but when I went way down to Boynton Beach to see her,I disagreed.She just sent me away,told me she would not do a follow-up,and closed the door.I went way to Boynton Beach to the Nicklaus Children’s Boynton Beach Care Center for absolutely nothing.She was very unprofessional.Any good doctor would order some tests or exams before they make an assumption such as the one she made.I didn’t want to go there in the first place,but I thought I should go from the high recommendation my doctor made.It was a poor recommendation, she was not a good specialist,and it was a waste of my time and travel.For a doctor with so much experience,she should have done better.I wish I could rate 0 stars.
