  They closed the receptionist desk and only have a sign in machine that lets you check in. I did that and was told after waiting an hour that they aren't taking walk ins and then sent home

  PLEASE AVOID THIS QUEST DIAGNOSTICS ON 1001 NW 13st BOCA RATON!!!! my 18 month old son had an appointment today for blood work. Our appointment was for 11:00am I checked in at 10:45am and told my husband stay in the car with him since my son is under 2 years old and can't wear a mask so I walked inside to tell them I checked in and have an 18 month old waiting in the car. One of the techs told me he needs to wait inside so I called my husband to bring him in even though I was very uncomfortable since he couldn't wear a mask to protect himself we waited inside as asked. My son wasn't called back until after his appointment time and they told me only one person can go back with him i told my husband go back with him because im pregnant so it was best he went back to hold him. I am very angry that these techs are rude and have no experience in pediatrics which you would guess a lab would have experience in pediatric. My son was screaming on the top of his lungs for 10mins poking both his arms and they collapse his veins and both arms are bruise if you stick him once and didn't get anything don't keep poking him that's torture my son came out red sweating and shaking in fear this isn't right. I tried to walk back and the door was closed i even asked the tech can I please go back she said no so I said then you need to stop what you're doing and tell my husband come back out with our son the tech was rude and didn't care what i had to say and took her sweet time to tell my husband to come out. Then they have the nerve to tell us come back Friday i will not be coming back to have my son torture again. Please Quest you need to hire more people that know how to draw blood on babies or train your employees. Parents please avoid this place for babies!!!!!

  Un desastre la espera en este lugar. Debería avisar que si uno no toma cita pierde dos horas o más. Uno llega al lugar, se auto atiende en una pantalla para sacar su número, el cual aparece en una pantalla con los minutos de espera. Estos minutos de espera van bajando y subiendo, debido que los pacientes que sí fueron astutos y solicitaron hora llegan y los turnos se siguen atrasando. El espacio de espera es pequeño, cerrado, sin ventanas hacia el exterior. 17 puestos para sentarse, sillas,que resulta muy incómodos después de tanto tiempo y si uno piensa que a ese lugar acude, sin desayunar, y muchas veces con alguna dolencia. Las personas mayores les cuesta entender lo de la pantalla uno hay personal del laboratorio que los ayude. Nunca les vi la cara, si escuche su voz, la cual durante esa casi dos horas repetían que había que entrar con la orden, ID y tarjeta de seguro. La verdad no puedo hablar de cómo es el personal, porque no aguante más el dolor de cabeza y tuve que retirarme sin realizarme los exámenes. Les recomiendo que si por comodidad les queda bien este lugar no concurran sin cita!!!
