    I fell in my home and came right into the emergency center. I waited 10 minutes before I was taken in. Immediately the nurse connected the oxygen finger meter and my blood pressure cuff. They are very professional and caring. I split open my forehead from the fall. I was then seen by the PA Mindy well she is lovely and calmed me down. I had a deep gash on my forehead. She sent me for a caravan of my head and me t just to make sure I didn’t fracture anything or have a concussion. Thank god I was ok. She cleaned my cut and administered numbing shots and gave me 11 stitches. Her soft touch and kindness made me extremely confident. My stitches are tiny and I will be going back on 6 days to remove them!!! I give this place 10 stars thank you

    I am writing to report a concerning experience I had with an attending physician in the emergency department. During my visit, the physician was dismissive and rude when I was attempting to explain my symptoms, which made it difficult to feel heard or properly cared for. The following day, I called to speak with a nurse because I was experiencing severe diarrhea from the prescribed antibiotic. I was told by the nurse who reviewed my culture results that there were no alternative antibiotics available and that if I did not continue taking it, I would need to be admitted for IV antibiotics. I was informed that I could come back to the ER to be evaluated for the diarrhea ( of course this would be at my own expense ). When describing the severity of my diarrhea I was informed this is a result of the “bad bacteria leaving my body”. This is not the first UTI I’ve experienced and have never had such this experience with an antibiotic before. The following day I called again and a different attending physician reviewed my case and was able to prescribe an alternative antibiotic without any issue. This inconsistency in care and communication was extremely concerning. Being told that no alternatives existed, only to have another physician provide one shortly after, caused unnecessary stress and confusion. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed, as patients should feel heard and confident in the information they are given, especially when dealing with significant side effects.     I went to Baptist ER in the Mission Bay Plaza a few nights ago. The facility was very clean and I was seen very quickly. My blood pressure was very high and I had a headache. Dr. Hernandez and nurses, Jordan and Lauren, were all so competent and put me at ease. Dr. Hernandez explained everything he was doing and why and the nurses were also caring and efficient. They are all to be commended for their compassionate care. I was given several tests to rule out different possibilities and eventually an IV lowered my pressure. I was so grateful that I received such excellent care and would go back to this ER without hesitation.

    I went to the ER room because I fell and hurt my foot the diagnosis was a sprain but the doctor did not even wrap my foot I had to ask him to wrap it and he should've given me a boot because the pain was incredible so I went back the next day, not even 24 hours and asked them to give me a boot and they wanted to charge me for the visit the paperwork that I was given to follow instructions stated that a boot should've been given to me And I was told by the assistant that I would have to aGrievance so I wouldn't be charged. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. This is not the way you treat a person. I am 77 years old. How would they like it if it was someone in their family I Told the nurse that I'm leaving please read follow your instructions for a sprain foot in the paperwork you you will see what it states. Thank you.

    I came in very upset with a headache that was getting worse after many days. From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted and registered by the friendly receptionist in a flash. I was taken to a clean and comfortable room where I was immediately seen by a competent, English speaking empathetic nurse who had a true understanding of my complicated health history. Dr. Winograd came in and was thorough in ordering a comprehensive set of tests which included a cat scan. Even the xray tech was lovely. The doctor came back in very quickly with the results truly empathetic to my worries and ordered a course of action that addressed my issues. I left to go home with extensive paperwork and with such an appreciation and great respect for this Emergency care facility and even though it’s about 40 minutes from where I live this, is my go to place from now on. I am a snow bird and just can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and I am very grateful that Dr. Winograd was assigned to me . Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the staff for taking such good care of me.
