  This place is a friendly environment great experience all staff have patience and understanding and felt like Dr Fernandez understood my issues and did all he can to help.

  Reference the Aventura Medical Oncology office for Dr. Domeneche. First, Dr. Domeneche is a superb medical oncologist. He is extremely knowledgeable and explores all avenues in an effort to provide the best and most effective treatment that is available. He is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately the office that supports him falls far short by comparison. The office manager, Jackie lacks organizational skills, leadership ability, attention to detail, and overall patient concern. These traits transcend to the staff working for her. As this is a cancer treatment clinic, one would think that communication with and for the patient would be of significant concern. After all, treatment of this nature is time critical. In this office, under this management, nothing could be further from the truth. Seldom are calls directly answered and even less often are messages for a return call acted upon. Staffing in this office is a revolving door and generally speaking the office is never at full staff. The impact is much longer waiting time for a scheduled appointment. I have personally waited beyond an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment. From appointment setting to ensuring the correct medicine is available for an appointment, this practice falls short beyond words. Finding the best medical oncologist to treat your cancer is critical, but when you run into brick walls every time you try to get that medical attention due to an inept and uncaring office support staff, it is time to find a new Doctor. Do yourself a favor, find a different practice as this one thru its lack of concern, could contribute to expediting a very bad result with your condition.
