My experience with Clubs Pilates Altamonte Springs has been good one. I have enjoyed taking the classes with the instructors at this club. To my understanding, there's a baseline guide that all instructors use. The variety of approaches to executing the techniques/positions according to the different baseline levels has been educational and enlightening to my practice of pilates.
Adriana is by far the best instructor at this location. She is incredibly involved, attentive, and kind when instructing, especially for those who are newer or working on getting stronger. Her energy is motivating, her cues are clear, and she creates a welcoming environment that truly sets the standard.
Unfortunately, I haven’t consistently had that same experience with some of the other instructors. A few classes have felt less engaging, with lower energy and minimal encouragement. At times some of the other instructors tone can come across as disengaged or even annoyed when having to help someone, which is disappointing in a workout setting where motivation and connection really matter.
There seems to be a strong focus on bringing new clientele in, but consistency in instructor quality and overall client experience could use more attention and I don’t get the feeling they care all that much to work on that. Adriana is honestly the main reason I haven’t explored other Pilates studios just yet.

Have really enjoyed the classes and the instructors have all been kind and patient. I have noticed the classes at this location take more breaks during the classes and are less intense than the Lake Mary location. The team has been super helpful with scheduling classes, assisting with the app when needed, and communicating.

I stopped by to purchase a birthday gift for someone who previously attended this Club Pilates location. I initially asked to buy a gift card but was told only a manager could process that, and no manager was present. I appreciated being offered the alternative of purchasing classes directly and adding them to the recipient’s account.
I specifically asked that the recipient not receive an email so the gift wouldn’t be spoiled, and I was assured the receipt would be sent to me instead. Unfortunately, the email went directly to the recipient, ruining the surprise, and I never received a receipt. The recipient forwarded it to me because they were confused (because they weren’t supposed to know).
More concerning, the email included an agreement I never saw or signed, containing a forged signature with my misspelled name and terms that differed from what was explained to me (ex. I was told the classes wouldn’t expire, the agreement said otherwise).
I manage a business with similar membership and gifting systems, so this experience was especially disappointing. If an agreement was required to apply the classes to the account or was just a workaround in the computer (because every point of sale system has its quirks), that should have been clearly communicated.
I would have preferred to return later for a gift card rather than deal with a spoiled gift and an agreement I neither reviewed nor signed.

✨ Honest Review – Club Pilates Lake Mary & Altamonte Springs ✨
I’ve been going to both the Lake Mary and Altamonte Springs Club Pilates locations (same owner). I truly enjoy Pilates and there are a couple of instructors who are amazing — they know how to teach, motivate, and push you just enough. 💪
But overall, my experience has been disappointing. Many classes feel repetitive, using the same exact exercises regardless of the class level (1, 1.5, Sculpt, etc.). Some instructors rush through movements or give little explanation — by the time you figure it out, the class has already moved on. Some days it honestly feels like I didn’t get a workout at all. 😞
Then come the unfair fees:
⚠️ I was charged a “late check-in” fee even though the Lake Mary studio’s check-in tablet has been broken and never replaced.
⚠️ Another time, I was charged for a class I never scheduled — and when I disputed it with my bank, they added a $25 dispute fee.
⚠️ Even though I pay $200/month, they suspend your classes until every little fee is paid, even when the charge was in error.
I love Pilates and the potential this franchise has, but members deserve fair treatment, consistency, and accountability. I hope management listens — because when it’s good, it’s really good. 💙
🩵 Consistency, fairness, and communication matter — especially when clients are paying premium prices.
