- MWmike williamson3 days ago5.0Onward has been helping me get my shoulder mobility back! While we are making strides getting it back they also help with whole body. Including the mind. Had a lot on my mind lately, and it’s always calm and encouraging when I’m here. Offering solutions to problems other than my shoulders. Lindsay and Meredith are great. I appreciate all they have done to help me out. Thank you!

Meredith took the time to both understand the injury and what I was hoping to get out of PT. Over four sessions, she helped me entirely fix the pain (identifying the imbalances in strength and flexibility causing the pain) and developed weekly plans for me so that I could do the sports and activities I wanted to do pain-free. Meredith and Lindsey are both very welcoming and create a positive environment to rehab. I would highly recommend Onward for anyone who is looking to rehab an injury / move without pain.

The one on one focus was crucial to getting me better. Lindsey gives me specific work to continue in between sessions which keeps me engaged in my progress. I am now able to run and lift weights again! Highly recommend if you want to get better!

Meredith was so warm and knowledgeable - helping to clear some anxieties and give exercises to improve mobility/core strength (targeting my specifics gaps). I’m really looking forward to coming back closer to birth and feel a lot more confident staying strong and active during pregnancy!

She takes my physically challenging job and fitness goals into account to make a plan for treatment, and aims to fix the root of the problem instead of just alleviating symptoms. Onward is a clean and welcoming environment, and the espresso is great!

Do I need a referral from an MD?
In the state of Delaware, no referral is needed to see a physical therapist. If you question your need to see your doctor first, feel free to call us to discuss!
A referral is required for dry needling services in the state of Delaware. If you want this treatment option as a part of your care, then please come with a doctor referral for dry needling.
Where should I park?
We are right next to Cafe Neo and directly across the street from Atexquita on South Main Street.
Parking behind the building is accessed via Chimney Ridge Road. There are two free parking spots available in the parking lot behind the building labeled "reserved for onward physical therapy patient parking only." Please park here; otherwise, you will need to pay for parking via the parking app or alongside Beverly Road.
Can I bill my insurance for reimbursement?
This depends on the insurance you have, but YES, most non-Medicare patients residing in DE can send a claim to their insurance company for their treatments at our clinic. You should be able to print claim forms from your insurance company's website, and send it in with the needed receipts and treatment codes that will be provided upon request at our clinic.
The amount of reimbursement or application towards your deductible is completely dependent on your insurance plan. If you call your insurance company to inquire about what you can expect to receive, you should ask about reimbursement for "out-of-network Physical Therapy" expenses sent in via self-claims.
