If our experience at the Giant Pharmacy today is indicative of their service, then this might be where we will move all of our prescription needs. My husband and I tried in vane to find a local pharmacy with any open appointments for a flu shot. With all of the chain pharmacy outposts in Middletown, we were surprised to find the soonest we could get the flu shot was in three days. As we were in the area, we stopped at Giant to see if they permitted walk in. Much to our surprise, they did. The pharmacist was gentle, kind, and very personable. We appreciated her thoughtfulness and her willingness to work with us. There was no attitude or condescension as we have experienced at other local pharmacies. We’re glad to have found a pharmacy and pharmacist that understands such a position isn’t just transactional. We will be back!
