Psychiatrist
I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and a board certified clinical nurse specialist. I have been in practice for 22 years, and am licensed in Delaware and Pennsylvania. I do psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medications and do psychotherapy. I primarily work with patients aged 13 and up.
I keep up to date with modern psychiatric research so I can implement the best of evidence based treatment. I utilize genetic testing with the company Genomind, which helps to delineate how your body reacts with medication. I have been using the psychotherapy of EMDR since 2003, which is the best treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma.
