- JCJackie CousensMar 2, 20265.0I am the wife of a patient currently being cared for at Bay Terrace.In the couple of weeks he has been there he is making great strides in his recovery. The staff in this facility truly care for their patients and treat them extremely well. They are kept clean and comfortable. All the therapists that are assigned to his recovery are very professional and well trained. Each staff member that is involved with his case will take the time to explain what They're doing to help him recovery, the nurses all know the patients they are caring for and get to know the family as well and what our wishes are for his strive to come home. The administrative staff are extremely helpful and always available to address any concerns you may have. The facility is spotless. The corridors out side each feel like your walking into a hotel room the way they are decorated. The doctor who has examined my husband is extremely knowledgeable and caring also. My husband now smiles and can talk because he is getting well due to the care and rehab he is receiving at this facility. He had been in a facility before this who due to lack if care made him extremely ill. After he landed spending several weeks in the hospital due to the lack of care he received there Bay Terrace accepted him and now my children and I know we will have our family together again. Thank you to ALL and staff at Bay Terrace. Including the maintenance crew, the receptionists, the laundrey crew, all the different therapists. Also the facility provides laundering of the patients clothing. They are very careful to put name tags in each individual piece of garments so you can be assured of getting the clothing back.As far as my family and I are concerned Bay Terrace deserves their 5 star rating.
