We had assistance with bathing, follow-up physical therapy, travel to PT and physicians, and even help with household chores I found more difficult during this time. Samuel, our principal care-giver and my husband bonded strongly during those weeks and we feel he is a member of our family. Donna helped me a lot around the house and even showed me some better ways to do things. Home Instead was wonderful, although we are hoping not to need them again for quite a while. If we did have need, we would have no reservations about asking for it again.
